They are indeed Gareth.

Not sure but I will be buying at least 1 anyway. Was gonna run 2 but think I will settle for 1. It won't be for a while yet but I can save all the details off it when it arrives if you want?

is the labcell sensor just a calibrated ntk?
i wonder how you get a known standard for lambda so you can calibrate these sesnors? |
I needed to get a new one for my ECM 1200 so have little option but to buy one with all the calibration data.
Basically, you have 14 available technical tests that can be done to perfect a sensors output curve and then be individually entered into the headunit. This then makes the system certified accurate to 0.9% anywhere between 06 and 150 AFR and capable of reading oxygen accurately up to 22%. As you will probably know Simon, this is currently world leading technology, but at a price :( The sensor and sheet: https://img.photobucket.com/albums/0...mbdacalpic.jpg Its specs:  http://www.labcell.com/product.asp?id=17&pr=46 |
i remember emailing labcell ofr information on there equipment,,, i was all for buying one till the price list fell infront of my eyes
|
I had similar issues, as did the accountant and bank manager :wall:
Peace of mind is very rarely cheap though to be fair. |

might take my plug of my pectel sensor tomorrow and see if it tells me any clues!
i know there is a calibration resistor with the normal ntk, but i know this isnt used on the pectel system, because you select which type of ntk your using (1-10 selections) thinking outloud here  |
its always quite funny when my car is having some work done at MSD, all the gear goes on the car, i get in to drive , kenny gets in the passenger seat and before i start the car i get "DO NOT USE THE ALS"   then followed by a swift - or it will cost you an extra £650 on your bill

markk,

'fraid not mate. she's only supposed to buy spare parts for her own use, and she's already ordered 3 of these. as they were fitted to only a few models of civic they're gonna know that somethings going on. if it were me, i'd do it, cos i'm a bit dodgy, a bit wee, a bit woo. but she's not like that. sorry gareth.
|
