Ive havent watched the F1 for ages.I feel sorry for Hamlton though.

 

hamilton's peeps did something to their car involving fibreglass whihc made it really really quick

hamilton started from 3rd on the grid and rocketed up to 1st

then he didn't stop in time and looked like he'd lost control as he went into the first corner

he hit another car which gave him a puncture

then he ran wide

then he lost about 9 or 10 places in the following corner as everyone went past him

then he was last

bit of a shit day really when your race is over because you took a bit of a gamble and spunked your chances after 20 seconds, although to the guys out there who say that we are all haterz, i'd say it was either him being overwheled by suddenly discovering his car was faster off the start or rotten bad luck

i'll let you decide what went on

and my original post was to ask if rikanon has quit f1 after he's pit because they seemed to be saying that someone else was going to take his place

Sounds like it has been a good race then.

 

Having looked at it again, it appears Webbers front wing just touched his rear tyre BEFORE the first corner, hence why he went wide.

Shame, if he'd had stayed in 2nd/3rd for first corner, he would have got the other with the KERS round the next two. Oh well, he's not going to win it this year. Might get 4/5th in the end.

But how well did KERS help the Maccas and Ferrari's off the line?

 

Rubens Barrichello would do well to keep his mouth shut as well

I missed what he said... all I caught was Eddie Jordan waffling on about his comments being wrong and wanting to see what Ross Brawn would say about it all.

Basically Rubens came out with the following quotes during his BBC1 interview:

"On the strategy, on the pit lane, it was a good show from the team on how to lose a race today."

Hamilton was looking like he was going to make first or second place, until he had the lightest of toutches on the rear tyre from webbers front wing, that gave him the punture and he ran wide in the first corner due to no grip! then everyone went past him and he limped to the pits

 

Ouch, be interesting to see what happens then... must be hard being 2nd best in teams throughout a lot of your career but while I can understand his frustration, should really try and keep it out of public eye.

Rubens lap times were no where near the winning pace, he got 11th fastest lap, he aint gonna win a race being 11th best !!!

 

seat in the 2nd brawn car up for grabs next season it seems now

 

that just means 10 peole drove a faster LAP than him mate, not that he was 11th fastest over the whole race, in which case he would have finished 11th
