Classic Ford today
 

Was a blinder!! top 1/4 mile action.
the turn out this year was mental!
which did mean it took me 2 hours to cover 3 miles into the pod, which pop my fans fuse, which then led to some extreme engine heat which split my header tank! lol all in an RS ownership day out.

anyone else go?

Ye just got back it was a great day out.
That Rocket Car was awesome 6.62 1/4 Mile and 264MPH over the line!!
Also there was a great Mk3 Escort badged up as 1.3 with steel wheels looked completely stock running low 11 second quarters (had cossie lump and 4x4 drive train in) Brilliant!

Was a nose cone one with minilights on the front and drag radials on the rear, had some cut outs in the bonnet as well.

blinding day, track action was great, didnt see too many break downs and got very burnt, loved it

i just got back..burned to a fookin crisp!!!!! excellent day..shame about the many cars that went bang on the starting line though(i counted about 6)...and the poor mk1 escort that was on fire this morning on the way in....

wish i could have gone but RST is off the road :( sounds like it was a wicked day apart from cars going bang at the startline,sounds nasty.

Excellent show but getting out was nearly 3 fucking hours from club stands!!!!!!

i was thinking of going but didn't get a stand pass.... was thinking of riding down on my bike this afternoon but went the other way in the end!

I went and it was a brilliant day, that is until somebody went into the side of me about an hour from home - BAD TIMES. :sad:

was the best ford show ive been to in ages, was my first time on the strip too..loved it :king:

im gutted i didnt go and you lot arnt making it any easier :cry:

was a great day, lovely cars, lovely weather.
