I remember this. I was walking around there the weekend afterwards.
The place was still covered with police and news people.
Exeter footy team were having a huge parade, the place was full of people watching them drive buy in a doubledecker bus.
So, not only did the dumb fucker not manage to blow anything up - he also picked the wrong day... the parade day being the more obvious choice.
