Never seen this interior in a saph before is it factory?

doubt thats factory. think you only got black.

Do the supports look larger? maybe more like rouse size?

 

Chop, no cossie came with black leather it's 'raven' Dark blue

they look like normal uprights to me?

there was a couple of grey leather trims i was lucky to have one my self was done by ford for some arab when he bought his saph car later got broken thats when i got hold of them (wish id kept them now instead of selling them with the car)

theres a three door that i know off that came with black leather interior. not raven so maybe that was special order?

 

god knows why u would order it in that colour its bloody horrible

 

its been a long time since i saw my seats so couldnt think if they were standard

i was going to say raven but then i also thought raven was black! fucking blue?!

They look black, but in direct sunlight they look dark blue/purpley (the seats)

its possible there special order, i remember a magenta xr3i cab once had turbo kit and red leather from the factory was special order for a director or something

 

i'd say retrim, did anyone ever see that M plate saff ghia for sale on p/heads or e thingy ? i think it had blue and something recaro leather it looked like a "proper job".ive just chaned mine but i not showing incase people go errrrrrrrrrr horrid

and davies spot on raven is really dark blue,

 

if it was standard wouldn't it have perferated (spelling?) holes in the leather in the door cards?

i havnt seen that colour seats in years

many years ago when i had my i first ever sierrai went a local scrappy who had exactly the same trim, recaors in a burgunday colour, i bought the just becuase he wanted 20 quid for full trim, though they were a bit of a mess

so there smore than 1 and i mean they were exactly the same, so possible retrimmed made to order

 

"horrible" is a bit strong IMO maby not my taste but defo would have been beter if ford did offer other colour interiors , not that the factory ford leather i any good anyway is it?

nope, as early ja plates cam with those wheels as mine did

 

i'd want new srec wheels on a j plate, much better lookin but thats just my opinion

 

registration letters hj say to me its a essex registered car,and as all ford motor company cars were registered eagle way brentford essex it could be a special for senior ford management, i used to work for a dealer who bought out of a ford closed sales ex ford motor company cars, i saw green sierra cosworths,rs500's with leather, and cars ford would even state as being reshelled or stolen recovered.

 

Will keep you in mind chop! just hold onto it for a while longer
