you probably need to pull the bumper closer to the splitter mate.

alot easier off the car, clamp it in the middle and work out, adjusting it to suit as you go

They are fiddly and very tight to fit. But do go on and look very nice.

I did end up driling mine near the ends and using cable ties to fit, cos i'm lazy.

yh its very tite indeed. when i get the one side lined up and try doing the other side it seems like the splitter is bending out of shape. and i dont want to force it to much in case it breaks.

Neither

Silicone won't be strong enough, you will need to use Tecflex or some other brand of seam sealer/car body bonding stuff.

Don't use pop rivets, the splitter is fibreglass and the shock from the rivet gun will crack it all to shit I would think.

I used small stainless allen bolts and lock nuts and washers on mine

I gave up trying to fit my Moose one and sold it,bought a gen RS500 one that had been chopped down to fIt a Saph, much better IMO.

Rouse ones look like snow ploughs IMO!!!!

clamp in as many places as possible, drill a series of holes along the length and use some small sellf taping screws

my carbon one was a perfect fit, but the bumper perfectly flat aswell, as they sligthly missshaped over time, being plastic.

i used large rivets on mine and didnt have a problem.

I think when i fitted mine i started in the middle, what i mean is found the middle of the splitter and the middle of the bumper and fixed it, NUT and BOLT.
Then worked from there with clamps doing one side at a time, this means you don't end up short or long at the finishing end.
Must admit and extra half inch length wouldn't go a miss to aid fitting them.

Another pair of hands would also be handy.

is your bumper straight or has it sagged at the bottom like most?

as these are a very tight fit, mine was a pain and my bumper is completely straight

but i got there in the end, easier with the bumper off

and you should of done it before having it painted as then the holes are already in the bumper ready for fitting

i just used self tappers in mine and is one very well

i can get pics if you like as the bumper is off the car

ill go get a pic now

i fitted mine with a load of clamps to get it lined up i had to pull teh bumper to the splitter one side drill the holes and screw it in, then get the other side to fit and do the same then worked on the middle

all before it was painted as you will damage the paint i think if you have already had it painted

ill get a pic up to show you it fitted

is this for your saff or the 500, as a saffy is smaller splitter than the 500 have they sent you the right one.

iv finaly got it on

but on the edges iv used silicone. and if that dosent hole im going to pre drill a hole and then pop rivit.

on the edge at the bottom i havent pushed the bumper and splitter together. it fits very tite against the bumper so looks very good.

its alot lot easier with the bumper on the car
