A'nova' problem
Ok, the gearstick on the project nova was ok then all of a sudden it just dropped to the side & now it wont stay in the middle & has gone really sloppy
It goes into gears fine but it just wont return to the middle & has no springiness.
I know with Fords there's a spring which keeps the gearstick central & returns it to the middle when in neutral - is there one on the Nova or have I messed something else up?

i think the vauxhall clip has slipped loose of the fanny bracket, if you lift up the google pin you should be able to reach under the bucket and finger the fanny back into place!!
I'm not sure exactly what it is that breaks but personally I'd just change the whole shifter, a few bolts underneath and one on the pinch bolt and its all out.
Mine had a habit of jumping out when you changed gear lol after it happened several times on track I just changed the whole assembly
