Default will this make any difference?

if in my 1.6 escort i put an rs2000 or a 1.8 ECU in it? its the mk6 BTW and was wondering if it would make it better or worse or wouldn't work atall.

If you mean keeping the 1.6 engine and just putting on a 1.8 ECU IMO this will be bad. Because AFAIK, the 1.8 ECU will only learn from its base values but won't go down as low as what the 1.6 engine runs on, so will overfuel etc as the 1.8 would use more fuel...

and if you put in the RS2000 ECU it prob wont even run as its a totally different engine.
