U can run it at stage 3 level, it just won't last as long as it should, ran mine for 4 years before it went pop. Suppose it depends on the chip though really, do u know what it's set up to run? For proper stage 3 u really should be looking at a T34 tho minimum IMO.

im currently running stage 1 at 261bhp but im thinking bout going to stage 3 but cant afford everything at once so i was going to get all the injectors, map sensor, chip etc then get a turbo when i have more money, or is it best to wait till i can afford both...

u could do it that way but if u get a T34 later u will have to change your chip, plus with a T3 u only really going to get around 300bhp mark where with a T34 around 330-340 mark

Ditto
depends, u could run it on a chip for a T34 and upgrade the turbo later, just won't be as powerful with the T3. But that depends if you want to just go for it right away or do it"properly" and get all the bits together. If you see what i mean. Basically running a T3 and stage 3 chip for a T34 won't do any harm.

I think if you type it inot search you'll find info on it...

This conversion is awesome, the perfomance figures Tiff got from his was fantastic, 0-100 in just 12 secs, tha's not bad when you think an M3 is doing it in similar times..

apart from on the motorway although its ment to be top conversion would want to give it large for long periods as 24 psi spike on yellows is askin for truoble over a long period!well imo anyways!not that anyone listens to me

But you can only do 70 on motorways... well, in mine there's usually a 1 on front of that..

Arr, the joys of 440 bhp...

I've had both a stage 3 T3 conversion and a T34 one

T3 one boost up a lot quicker and the repsonce is very quick.. Downside is it runs out of puff when your giving it some bananas

T34 is more laggy but more power up the revs..

Both nice conversions.. Running a T3 @ 1.3Bar (20psi) would make a wicked little driver

Well I was considering the gunship conversion a while back on a stage 3dr I had. I gave NMS a ring and he explained it to me like this.....

The yellows/blues in a std cossies can deliver enough of a pulse of fuel low down in the revs to cope with a massive spike (and then some) its only when you want big boost and high rpm that the injectors cannot flow enough as theyre limited on pulse time/flow rate due to high rpm....

Basically saying the NMS gunship conversion uses lots of boost low down in the revs where the injectors can cope compfortably and then slopes off the higher the revs go..keeping everything safe and within the limits of std injectors.

I've only heard good things about this conversion and for the price its got to be a no brainer if your not after massive motorway speeds or top end power.

I think he just spikes the boost at something like 28psi then drops it right off for safety... the injectors wouldn't cope else.........
