Default Wheel Ratio/tyre tread/diff question?

Hi all, If I'm running a new 8mm tread tyre on one side of my car and a 5mm used on the other side can it affect the diff etc? It'll be on the front of my Skyline which is 4wd(when it needs it) so I'm not sure what it'll do?

Cheers,

Andy

It will easily cope with that amount of difference, more of a problem with centre lockers!!

I hope you mean front and back...tyres should always be changed in axle pairs.

I'm not too familiar with the Skyline centre diff but if it's viscous you will be fine.
