Classic insurance for 21 year olds with FRST or ERST's
How old does a car have to be to be eligible for classic car insurance?
In a year and a half's time i will be 21 and looking to insure either an ERST or an FRST.
By that time i will have 3 years driving experience, 3 years NCB - hopefully and a clean licence.
The car will be garaged, cat 1 alarm, limit milage to 6000miles per year with an agreed value of around £5000.
What did you have to pay at this age for fully comp insurance?
Cheers

Hey Agar when you join the Rs owners club, you could probably get a really good price with Boncaster insurance. There advertised in the monthly Rallye News
They were the best for me with the Mk2RS

No aged 25 and over, some may allow lower aged drivers though.
To give you an idea, i was 25, insured an S1 with mods for 225 quid a year fully comp!!
Just keep shopping around, but as mentioned, see if joining an RS club gets you discount.
I would expect to pay around 1k at your age.
