Stu @ M Developments 06-09-2004 08:36 AM

Question is Rob..
When both your scoob and my cos are flat out in 5th down the side of that mountain, and BOTH our shift lights are flashing, what are we supposed to fookin do? :wall:

:top:

Decent steak and ice cream too i must say :top:

markk 06-09-2004 08:41 AM

yes was very enjoyable , considering it was my first ever trackday and that the car is geared for point to point acceleration we didnt do so bad , i only had only two cars pass me , one was also bobs evo ( top weapon ! ) and an escort cos out dragged me down the straights ( but the corners were a diff story !! fast car !)

but yes really enjoyed it , despite a few woes , but , thats what we were there for reliablity testing , and we found we have a few small issues to sort.

have to re-iterate that i think the track side was very well organised , and well done to all the organisers , matt , dingy , and all the others who i dont know , ive been to a few track days before and out in a few cars , and was defo the best yet , congratulations !! :top: :top: :top:

and cheers stu !!! your welcome anytime m8 !!!

Rob Wiles 06-09-2004 01:06 PM

Stu i know, just c`ant help myself can i !!

Rob Wiles 06-09-2004 01:17 PM

Nath not for me to say if im a good driver, but the scoop does give you lot of confidence to really push it and i guess that is one of the main thing if you want to be competitive on the track, theres a few places at croft mainly all the back section which can be taken flat out in fourth but i found most cars i came up behind braking or lifting off in strange places but i guess its all about learning the car and your own limitations !

Markk if id have had my slicks on i think id have had a good tussle with that puma after a few laps the toyo,s where not good ! which im sure our gallent leader of this thread would confirm :blabla: cheers Rob

Nath 06-09-2004 01:19 PM

Thanks Rob  Either way it looked a good combination of both from where I was standing
