internet explorer 7
looks good so far, but it's a bit out of focus
anyone else go tit? |
yeah ... go tit the other day ...
still cant decide on it ... it changes the font to summit else when it installs .. cant decide on if i like it or not tho... |
i tell you one thing, passionford loads up super quick on it so it must be doing something right :)
and i like the way the different pages are listed at the top rather than cluttering up the tool bar at the bottom :) it's better i lots of ways, but it's going to get osme getting used to, which i owuld say is going to be the main stumbling block |
Much Better. I love it. Only one Ie open on the toolbar, if you set it properly EVERYTHING will open in a new tab in the same window, and I love the summary tab
Theres a lot more features to it than that too :top: |
sounds like bills earning his money then :)
|

Mine was blurry but thinking about it i've bought a lcd screen and now it's not, orrrr i've just got used to it?
|
I go tit a couple of weeks ago. I don't realy use it, but the MSN Explorer I do use is a modified version of it and I've been getting quite a few "page cannot be displayed" errors since installing it. I've never had one before. "Page not found" - Yes, but not "not displayed" :?

it enables ClearType fonts in IE windows when it installs. these have been available in XP powertools since day dot, but not many people realise and install them
and yes, as of Nov 1st Windows update will install IE7 :top: altho thats not so great in a corporate environment where laptop users download it themselves and then wonder why half their legacy webbased apps don't work  |
i'm sure you'll explain what all that means jim :)
|
not blurry here had it a while now, tho as someone said above im using a lcd screen
|
got lcd screen too, but stil blurry ?
|

TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS
Click the ADVANCED tab, scroll down and tick/untick "ALWAYS USE CLEARTYPE FOR HTML" as desired.... Won't bother to explain what it does, as it will be self explanatory when you turn it on and off a couple times (PS, you need to open a new window after changing that setting each time to get the change in appearence) |
Had it a few months..from when the first beta was released. Like it, hate IE6 now  :top:

Then I don't know Dojj - I have IE7 and mines not fuzzy. Have you done an auto adjust on your monitor? Most monitors have a button combo for this (mine is pressing the + and - buttons on it at the same time) as that might help (one day all my text went fuzzy (back in IE6 some time ago) and this sorted it all out)

It worked for you did it Steve? Thought it would - not sure why it hasn't worked for Dojj, but I suspect it might have something to do with pills

I'm running it on a digital LCD screen 1280 x 1024 and it still looks fuzzy even after running the windows diagnostic tool
http://www.microsoft.com/typography/...ner/Step1.aspx I love the new features but the text looks like I've had 6 pints of Stella :? Mark |
