Saw them 2 years ago on the Dance of Death tour.

Best live band EVER.

I saw Metallica a week later and they didnt even compare, and they were far from shit.

 

Muzz - Seen Metallica a coupl times before, but never seen Maiden, so decided it was high time I did.... Last time I was at Earls Court (where this gig is) was xmas 2003 to See Metallica on the Madly In Anger With The World tour and they were SUPERB....

So hopefully, Maiden will destroy the place

Just found out SLAYER are playing the Brixton Academy in Nov, so might have to go to that aswell

 

Excellent, been told from a mate of mine that Iron Maiden are the best and loudest band you can possibly go and see.
Are they playing up north at all ?

Going to see them too at the NEC in December, can't wait!! Missed Dance of Death tour, but this will be the fourth time I've seen them.

Slayer supported them at Earls Court when I saw them too!!



Favourite Maiden Album? Amazingly, mine is No Prayer for the Dying, I think it's quality!!

Bruce has been back with Maiden as vocalist for some years now....

But he is also a liscenced airline pilot (and not just small planes, - he is liscenced to fly passenger jets!!!) and also has his locomotive liscence aswell

 

Think I will book up Slayer aswell (Brixton Academy in Nov - do you know who's supporting? Hope it's Lamb Of God again ) but I've not heard the new Slayer album.... I've been resisting the temptation to download it, as I want to actually buy it (call me crazy, call me kooky, lol)

He is VERY good at fencing. In the mid 80's he was so good at fencing he was asked to join the olympic team, but couldn't as he was due out on tour with Maiden

 

also saw 'dance of death' tour in frankfurt a couple of years ago - superb entertainment

 

im going to see em in glasgow later in the year ,its 15 years since i seen em first time

 

New single rocks btw, and new album out on Monday I think!
