anyone got any pics or details of some ka's that have had a decent engine swap or just one thats different. Trying to see if its worth keeping mine or go something different.

yeah i like the Zetec s but i don't wana be another young lad in a fez etc trying to look good/ go fast when you obviously aint! the insurance of a ZS aint too bad at all really.

its not my mate has one he pays about £400 fully comp

fair enough he is 24,what sort of mods you thinking about?

i dunno mat it would depend on the car i got. if it was the Zetec s then id be happy getting about 130bhp. if your talking about the Ka then i think its a lost cause tunung the endura engine so it would have to be a swap.

i once had the privilige of seeing a pumaspeed 1600 conversion on a ka,chopped front panel i mean most of it missing and great sections of chassis rail missing..........QUALITY!!

up to you mate but i would they rust like a mk3 fiesta,just so much easier to start with a mk5 or whatever takes ya fancy.

zetec s with decent manifold, k&n will see about 120 bhp and there quite nippy.

yeah true. dunno whether id want a fez tho. i like cars that are a bit different, thats why i went for the KA its more or less the same car but with more character IMO.

never seen that done to a KA before. not much good for the road tho ay mate?
what sort of engines go in pretty easy as i know few places nearby but i want an idea what to ask for a price on when the time comes. Thats if i keep it anyway!

Mate I have such a laugh driving it on the road as it handles so well, so yep it is good for the road

they crack manifolds they run so hot!!

1700 puma makes a quick little motor just get it done properly mate

its gotta be usable and prob keep the rear seats but ive got bored of the lack of power and pull. need something a bit faster and with more grunt when overtaking etc..

call puma build and speak to alan, DONT use puma speed

you will be looking around £3-4000 for a engine conversion and to be done well.

I use mine on track and would not consider another car, even the misses use the ka on track and road.

The ka chassis has a very good starting base, hence why I choose to use a ka
