how do i do this at home? cant just cut them off can you? need a quickish way to do i.

deflate it till there is no air in it.

jump on the side wall to break the bead

then try and pry it off

Angle grinder, i'm assuming you don't want the tyre?

Lot of work though, much easier to go down the local garage who will do it in literally 2mins.

its a load of alloys basically, need the tires off so i can weigh them in. looks like prying is the best.

ditto.. i used to work as a tyre fitter.. some of them take a bloody good grip.. even with the right machine you struggled sometimes.. wont cost much either...

they want Ł2 a tire, which is gonna be Ł40 for the lot.

Pop to lacal garage for 1 minute, they will have off.

That would make the most sensible sense.



Or you could bomb it off with a hand grenade or use a chainsaw...........

How much does a typical alloy wheel weigh then?

I've got a set in the garage, might weigh 'em in

Shame really as they're in pretty good nick, but no-one seems to want em
