Default difference between 4x4 Cosworth rear diff and XR4x4???

What is the difference if any between rear diffs for 4x4 Sapph and 2.9 XR4x4?
3.62:1 ratio on both.
XR has flat faces on the drive flanges I believe, I seem to remember that Cosworth one may have a recess on the drive flanges to locate with the driveshafts????

as far as im aware nothing there both exactly the same and same driveshafts

some people put the 3.9 diffs in off the 2.0L xr4x4 and these are a direct swap

Cossie diffs use 108mm drive flanges, XR's and Granny 24v's got 100mm flanges. Everything inside is the same apart from ratios depending on model

hmm.. so asking a different way then...
are the driveshaft fixing centres the same even though the flange diameter is different? Will the cossie driveshafts bolt up to the XR flanges?

Ah cool..

on a different note, how much does a 7" 4x4 diff weigh? i've seen mention of 25kg, but that seems a bit heavy to me??
