just witnessed the most amazing lightning storm ive ever seen up here in the lake district, anyone else having them?

 

Had it here in Glasgow, not long finnished! could tell it was building up, was very humid today, which is unusual. . probably be a scorcher tommoz! ( I think thats what it means anyway, humid-thunder&lightning-hot day following?)

It is very hot and humid here in the midlands.............could be a storm brewing

 

Smooth and quiet down here in Essex/Herts border.... Tho I do like a good lightning storm

 

I love a good thunder storm, although if it wakes me up in the night I'll be really pissed off

 

When i said it stopped. . well it had, but it's started again Rains battering down!

 

We've got it quite bad over in Larkhall as well, got a fookin river flowing through ma back garden.

Dogs going fukin bananas, hope it goes off soon as am 6am - 6pm tomorrow, either that or the dogs going outside

just had one for about 2/3 hours up here in scotland, mental , we aint had weather like that for a while

 

Yes got it in Glasgow seemed to go on forever tonight

Still going now my dog is scared to go outside poor wee soul

I remember that I used to love standing at the back door,watching the lightning (and thunder)..... Was doing this one day and it was 'flashing and crashing' , when all of a sudden,it just went 'BAAANG !!!' No rumbling,no nothing,just BAANG !! ........Must have been directly under it !! Made the whole house vibrate! Nearly shit meself,LOL !!

i was texing a freind from cumbria she tex back saying she was rushing
home as there was going to be a storm and it was on its way, i told her
to be carefull and let me know if she gets back o.k this was 4 hours ago
still not heard a thing from her is it that bad there

i hope she is o.k
