the pk Ripper was quite unique as it had an all alloy tig welded frame where most of the others were chrome moly...

I remember my dad buying me a Mongoose BMX bike it was red with rad pads & a double goose neck but it had the mag wheels which weighed a tonne , this was around 1980 or 1981 when i was 10 or 11. My mates dad was one of the 1st to import Mongooses into the country & his son's were regulary in the BMX mag's as they raced all over the country. The local race meet was at Buckmore Park Nr Bluebell hill Kent.
I always wanted a Supergoose
Remember, bunnyhops,endo's ?

Ahhh BMX's....
My old dears got me a mountain bike when I was 13.. I rode it once, and promptly got my old BMX out.. just some shitty Raleigh burner that I took all the stickers off ... prob worth a fourtune now LOL..
A few months later my mate told me of this bike, when i got it the Lay back it had was jamed into the hole and really low and it had the red Skyways and green!!!! tyres... everything else was red.
I borrowed it for a bit but couldn't find the 25 quid he wanted for it.... so I gave it him back...
A few month later he said I could have it for a fiver...
NICE
I have no idea what it is but I love it.. seen better days and I havent rode for a year or so now.. needs a bit of tlc... I wont ever get rid of it.. unless of course its worth thousands- which i doubt.
MX brakes all round... front wheel is some mega thick spoked thing I got for it... 1 piece crank and the front forks are Cromo 321 things. and thats it really... but its the only one I have ever seen and I could do some pretty wicked stuff in my youth with the double bars. Its really light too....
When I was riding it in my teens BMX'n and Skatin were things of the past and you couldn't get shit in Halfords...hence why I never upgraded anythign on it.
I was quite the lick when I was younger too.. the only person mad enough to go off the 13 steps at school and all that sort of crap.. 8 bread crates bunny hoped with a run up and I think 5 or 6 standing still "american styleee"... pure class...
Anyway the pics....
If anyone knows owt about it I'd be chuffed to hear it... I was once told by a knowledgable local that it was in fact and American Freeway TRM???
