Default what size nut an thread type for lambda sensor

got to weld one on the downpipe but need a nut to weld to exhaust first!!

i know they do a boss kit but cant be bothered getting one of them

so its a 18mm inner diamiter thred or outer and whats the 1.5mm?

18mm is the outer diameter of the thread on the sensor, and the 1.5 mm is the pitch between the threads themselves

if you go into a good tool shop and ask for a nut 18x1.5mm they should able to point you in the right direction

or as I did get a tap and make your own

it does depend on what lambda sensor you are going to screw into it!

if you are using it to set up a car, then yes its a m18x1.5

its a lambda sensor off a zetec escort and im using it for my afr gauge

then it's probably the smaller type (M12 x???). what size spanner do you need for it?
