they came in carb and mfi, the rarest tt converted car was a 1.4 s mk2 that i think used a smaller turbo than a t2, like a t15, and then obviously the 1.6s which i think used a t25, Last xr2 i saw with a tt kit had a 5th injector, t3 turbo, chargecooler and some other wee bits!

They were, there are two versions done by TT on the 1596 CVH engine with CARBURETTOR, minor differences between the two are due to the introduction by ford in 86 of the lean burn head/engine.
The Garrett T25 was used with water cooled core, using the std rad and fans in a slightly different position, and charge air cooler, blow through feed to the carb, new canister air filter, electric fuel pump with inertia switch on bulkhead, different carb and ignition settings are used, the non lean burn had a further mod to the carb(top face machined) and the CR was changed on the non lean burn to 8.4:1 by machining the piston crowns, lean burn uses std compression.
The horns are relocated to the side, sump is drilled and a a t piece fitted for turbo drain back.
Loads of other detail differences, but the end result was 0.40-0.42 bar boost at 3500rpm for 125bhp at 5500rpm, max torque of 183Nm at 3800rpm, 0-60 in 7.8, and 120mph.
The std ford warranty was not affected by this mod to the xr2.

The conversion is covered in a book by haynes, no 9880, written in part by Geoff kershaw, if you're interested.

Sadly when old ours all the paperwork went with it I should've scanned it before sold it, was quite interesting - I have nothing of use to add to this thread!
