what diff to go for
i got a 2wd saff and going to be doing a few trackdays /santa pod and the odd burnout at pod ;-)
im going for power of about 400bhp-450bhp ,ive bought a rear beam ,had it powder coated and new poly bushes and got new coilovers to go on too what diff do you have and think are best for the 2wd :oops: rough prices please |

I run similar power and occasionally use it on track - two standard diffs in two years but number 3 is holding up well.

Andy, wouldn't it be easier/cheaper just to fit an uprated one bud?? you'll just kep popping them else imo....:sad:

Hi Pete, I too have a CTS box... and a bara or similar diff will be got one day I'm sure - still have two standard ones in my spares bin mind you.

i broke 2 diffs in a week.....so fitted a gripper diff from bara all good but fook its noisey when turning slowly.
seems to hold together fine ive got a 6dagree beam fitted too which is very good! |

i got a quaife atb on my 3dr,direct from quaife themselves also got a life-time warrantee too,it might be up 4 grabs if i go ahead with my palns peeps....

There's a guy over here who has made a Toyota Supra diff a bolt in affair...The diffs are very strong and cheap as chips. 4 pinion instead of 2....Anyone that wants info I'll post up it up.
