Default suspension advice

im after some advice as i imagine you guys will have tried most kits out there, ive gotta puma which i bought to run me to work and back and when i got it the shocks were shot so i replaced with a cheap g max kit which are a little crashy, uncomftable at times.
now the car has getting under my skin and its in the bodyshop to get new arches and buffed up but i want suspension i can adjust to make the ride better aswell as making it lower, ive never had adjustable suspension before so im hoping you guys can tell me a kit i can use, i got £600 to spend so any cheers for any help

I have a set of Gaz Golds on my track Puma, I'm surprised how comfortable they are.

I would avoid AVOs, I've had a couple of sets on Mk3 Fiestas and a set on an MG ZR160, very solid ride and the rears are prone to clonking. Solid ride may have been down to spring choice but general quality is poor on the low-end AVOs imho.
