Default zetec and ST170 suspension

Hi all,

This question may have been asked before but,

Can anyone tell me the difference between the MK1.5 zetec and ST170 suspension, is their a difference in,
Spring rates,
Damper bound and rebound,
Ride height
and does it look visualy different eg. bright yellow like a set from Spax.

I also understand that the ST170 suspension can directly replace the zetec suspension, can anyone confirm that.

Thanks for any help
Tom

there is no difference between looks but i know that the ST170 suspension is lower than the standard mk1.5 zetec and a lot stiffer as well

Thanks for that, now i just need to find a set.

I'm also assuming the roll bar is stiffer, can anyone confirm that too?

Another question.
Are the dampers different, someone said that the dampers are all the same on all focus trims apart from the RS model.

the st170 springs lowers car by 25mm to the zetecs, also stiffer & a little harder ride, i have 2.0 esp with st170 springs allround & front suspension legs & all below in signature

this an old pic with mp3 alloys with 215/40/17 tyres, non st suspension. one thing is even with st suspension/springs,the rear could do with 35mm drop, ideally eibachs would do perfect. as st springs sit a little high at the back.
