Default Focus 05 - Headlight Bulb replacement

I bought a 05 ford focus a couple of months ago and my driver side main bulb has blew and i do not have a clue how to change it. I have obviously looked at it but it looks so cramped and with it being dark the whole thing looks impossible!

To confuse me more I searched on the internet and the responses were mixed, some people were saying its a 10 minute job but others were saying i need to take the wheel off! (surely this cant be the case!)

Please can anyone help!! I really do not want to take my car to garage as surely it cant be that difficult enough to require a professional.......

I had the same problem with my fiesta, my hands were too big to jam down the back of the headlamp unit.

The easiest thing I found to do was to pop the headlight unit out, just a few screws and bobs your uncle!

in FF2 you should always take out the whole headlight - just one screw on top and a little bolt in the back - 5min work

One bolt on top then it pulls forward, you may need to press the 2 plastic clips too if it doesnt come out easy though, as they might be a bit stiff!

Yep! 10 mins of a job! 2 screws and the plastic clips! headlight will slide forwards enough to gain access!

5 minutes? That's nice. It took me about ten minutes. And the sad thing was the bulbs were defective so I had to take it to the shop where I bought it.
