1st time I have graced the focus room on pf a question to the focus owners on site if I may?

My girls car is a mk 1 focus 5 door 1.8 zetec on a 51 plate, the reversing light has gone and I wish to change the bulb, having looked at the light unit I can't see any screws to remove it and change the bulb

how is this done please? many thanks in advance

Theres a clip underneath the light you push this up and push light out.

You can put your hand underneath and twist the bulb holder out.You won,t be able to remove the lense unless you twist the holder out first as the loom is quite short.

 

change the bulb? you'll need a new bulb holder if its like any other mk1 focus

 

I've never had a problem with the bulb holder in the mk1 focus's i've had. As above though, underneath is a plastic clip, press clip and it'll pop out!
