What are the differences between ST and normal 2.0 suspension.

I have cheapy coilovers and the front wont fit in the lower mounting points.

is there a difference in size shocks??

Standard and ST are the same.
RS uses a bigger diameter shock.

Your problem looks to be the chrome, it's mad the diameter slightly larger,
You would normally have to open up the socket on the knuckle with a wedge to get the shock into the hole.
I'd sure there is a Ford special tool, but a steel wedge or large screwdriver knocked in the gap usually opens it up.
