i'v had my st170 for over a year now got a ss exoust (cat back) is it worth while getting the manifold and cat replacement pipe? any suggestions for engine mods that are value for money? cheers erik

 

cat replacement pipes make the st170 sound tinny as hell, and may get you 3-4bhp if your lucky.

They are pretty well tuned anyway so the only way to get some decent power out of it would be forced induction with a turbo or supercharger, or you could even use nitrous

hi thanks 4 replying 2 my post, i was'nt really wanting to go 2 the expence of a turbo or supercharger the now, i looked into getting it remaped it only gives it 8 bhp forŁ200, or a power boost valve

 

power boost valves do nothing on a fuel injected car.

As I said in my original post, they are well tuned as standard, there's not really a lot you can do to them unless you are prepared to spend some good money on them.
