Make sure you have the AE map first of all.
Then you want a decat, manifold, exhaust system, Forge Actuator, Hybrid Turbo.
Unichip to control it...

And an uprated clutch if you go the unichip route as the std will not take the torque!

The thought of running a hack like unichip on a complex engine management like EEC-V frankly makes me want to puke

If your wanting that much power, you'll soon enough be talkin about changing the turbo to a gt28 or gt30 conversion. Its gonna cost u a good couple of grand t have it done but results will please u. Before hand i would say just do the usual tried and tested stainless exhaust and k&n filter route. Then a de-cat pipe and possibly a set of uprated plug (denso's???, sure someone wil correct me), and a set of uprated leads.

On a sidenote, i went with a couple of mates in their focus rs's to a rolling road day at SCC. One had a k&n kit and decat and bluefin (i think), the other was completely standard, and they made same power.

pumaspeed do ready kits for different bhp you will need a gt28 to get the power you want its only owrth running 300bhp on a standard turbo as they wont take much over 1 bar of boost for a very time
have a look on the trackday thread below my mods and mapping graph are up buddy

You will not get a genuine 300 bhp on std turbo.

also a front mount intercooler as a bigger chargecooler lets it get too hot

If it's a GT2560R as I am lead to believe (in Ford docs) then approx 30lb/min (depending on trim).. but it's the turbine that'll probably be the restrictive element.

The turbo is not a GT2560R. R, I believe is for roller bearing which the standard turbo is'nt.

The engines ECU map

Ford created 2 in total - AE was the map the car left the factory with - AF was the map Ford created to resolve some issues with AE map such as cold start issues & other small things - most cars on AE had the AF map loaded when they went into Fords for a service, diagnostic, etc

Problem with AF map though is the more heavily you mod the car, it can develop a misfire around 4.5k revs
