Default Which intercooler?

Looking at fitting my 2.0 zvh with stg 3 t3 running mfi in my mk4 xr3 last time i used this engine it made 230bhp, looking at the intercoolers auto specialists have to offer im liking the rs 500 coolers they do for the s2 but will that give me more lag than the smaller single pass one they do?

Im on an Airtec single pass, never get temps above 30c inlet and best of all theres plenty of airflow through and around it for the rad to keep in coolant temps at a steady 88-90c.
