Happily retired
Im a YB man so not familiar with a V8 CVH.
The second row of plugs look hard to change is this an engine out job as is the case with some Ferrari's. Cylinder 8 also looks a long way from the waterpump has this proved a problem, or is an internal booster pump fitted. It seems only yesterday a CVH was good for only 350bhp- im impressed, well done.

I've spoken to Christian and he said the built is about 98% finished already.
While he was able to pick up a used double capacity (obviously) pace intercooler for his new 3.2 16V V8 from the local scrappy he's now only waiting for the 8-cylinder MFI metering unit from an old S-Class merc to arrive. Should easily see 700+ bhp at the wheels when finished...

In all seriousness it wouldnt be that hard to make a straight 8 with two CVH's!
Replace the bottom cam belt gear on one engine with one that has holes that line up with the flywheel bolt holes on the other end of the crank, custom cam belt, a spacer in between the two cranks for extra clearance, secure the two blocks together, EFI MS2 management, one big fuck off turbo feeding both inlet manifolds, job done!
Dont know what you'd fit it in though?? lol

i cant help but thinking that it would also benefit from 2 mahoosive turbo's, a supercharger, and a set of r1 throttle bodies, im sure you could make it all work! you'll need a set of beige injectors to take care of the fueling as well dont forget!

I would have said engine mounted longitudinally, and cut out half of the cabin and sit on the gearbox, RWD!
Get it done!
