Default junking ABS

just a quick question. for those of you who have done this, is it acceptable to remove the modulaters and lines to the T pieces on the inner wings then run new lines from the master cylinder to the T pieces? is there any issue with MOTs by doing this?

many thanks in advance,

regards

Tom

pretty sure you just remove the multi plugs to it and unbolt all the stuff and change the top part of the servo for non abs model (bit the fluid goes in) oh cut the belts too,

as quick fix remove belts ans plugs,

bastard to do while in the car tho

mate not being funny but that seems gash as fuck. are you saying leave all the stuff on but just remove the belts? cos i'm not an mot tester but i'm pretty certain if you do that then you would fail an mot due to having an abs system fitted that does not work.

just removing the belts is no where near the same as removing the abs completly!!! you have to remove the modulators and everything asscociated with them and replumb the brake lines properly and change the fluid reservoir to a non abs item!!
Even with it all removed you could still run into difficulties for an MOT test as the vosa computer will tell the tester that it should have abs and how to test it!!
