Default HELP PLEASE!!!

Hello all. I have just started my cab up for the first time in bout 4 months its been laid up in my garage since november 06 and only been started every few months not been driven. It usualy starts and runs fine but this time it started fine and was running fine for about 10 mins then the engine stopped so i tryed to start it again and it wouldnt go so left it for 5mins tryed again and it started now its making a really loud tapping noise. Why would it do this??? I checked the oil level and its ok and had a new cam kit fitted under 5k ago can anyone give me any ideas as to what it might be???

Many thanks

Steve

Cheers for the replys guys. The oil light isnt on or flickering. If it is what you say how can i fix it or is it just a case of starting the engine and leave it running till the oil re-circulates properly.

Thanks again
