Just had me sapphy done and it was Ł30(fully comp),had it not been heated would have been free!!
A lot of glass companies now work the excess in to the price, but it depends who you are with as to what the limit is on the glass.
On my other car which does not have a heated front screen I pay no excess at all, only downside is I have to pay ALL up from then claim back as they will not direct deal, trying to force me to use AUTOGLASS, who would be my last choice round here.
My advice shop around a lot and barter them against each other, but keep a reference number of each, as they will ask who the cheaper quote was from.

same as mine but autoglass scracthed my bonnet the tw*ts

 

Can't say RAC were much better, left my heated screen disconnected ! Not the end of the world, but not what you need on a cold morning.

 

Did they all have heated fron screens or was this an option??

all had them as standard apart from the motorsport spec ones

 

Mine is a "standard" model which is pretty similar to the motorsport model. Must be why mine aint heated.

 

Does yours have the button on the dash for it ?? if it does you may be able to blag getting one fitted.

Similar to the heated rear screen image but it tapers from memory. Mine is on the oposite side of the steering wheel to the rear screen button.
