What to do!!!
Been looking around for a M3 EVO for a few months now. Found a really good one, went to see it tonight and it's bang on. However, it's silver and I really ain't fussed for that colour on M3s. Should I buy it or wait until a decent coloured one comes along, which could take months. Driving me nuts and need to decide by tomorrow

love the m3 evo but same as you not sure on the silver,,,
would have to be estoril blue/techno violet/dakar yellow
if your not sure then you dont want it,,,
get the colour you want even if you have to wait,,,your regret it otherwise

Thing is, to find them in this condition is pretty hard, it's minty mint and service history is perfect to say the least and it is about 1- 1.5k cheaper than say an Estoril would be. Hard to walk away from a straight, perfect car

Your car will come I really wanted a E46 M3 in steel grey and red leather and couldn't find one in good nick for a while, then I got a call from a dealer with a Silver/Grey (CSL colour which is very slightly lighter and replaced the steel grey on '53) with red nappa and it was perfect
The problem with that dakar yellow one is it has the newer M3 wheels whick dont suit that style of M3. Had only seen the car in the showroom and TBH it looks far better in real light. Was interesting to do back to back comparisson with the M3 and M3 Evo

Looked at them, trouble was price. They're expensive. I.E. same car as mine, same mileage, same condition and on a R reg, mine's on a S Ł11995, mine Ł9995

I felt like you James about silver, I wasn't too fussed about a colour but silver wasn't near the top of the list. I found the perfect car, an absolute minter and you've guessed it..... it was silver! I didn't hesitate in putting down a deposit on it though, it stood out a mile above others I'd been to see, I'd been looking for 2 months as well and I can't wait to pick it up.
Evos have worse gearboxes with the six speed, twin vanos units are well talked about, and 30bhp more.
As for back to back comparison.....
spoiler has a slightly different shape, diferent rocker cover, and the leather inserts on the door cards of Evo are real leather, most come with shark tooth wheels but it was optional
