rang spec r today and the number is disconnected. then spoke to my mate daryl and he said they had gone out off business. bloody typical if true. saved up for months for some shiny bits for my xr2 turbo just about to order them and then cant

ive been waiting for over a year now for a receipt off them after spending just over a 1k with them

but there items are work of art

 

I must say I have a lot of Auto Specialist stuff on my cozzy and the quality of this is far better than that of Spec-R!!! My Mrs has a lot of Spec-R stuff and even if you polish it for hours it doesn't come up any where near as good as my stuff

 

Think pete@spec R- is setting up again... 'space hoppers' of here probably could put you in touch with him...

 

anyone remember when I Spec R mateys brother was on the cook report? well funny. alledgedly!

 

But isn't most of AS's stuff stainless steel while Spec-R is all alloy? SS is soooooooooo easy to clean comparred to alloy

I have a bonnet catch off as and i can say its truly shit crome is comming off its crap never buy of them again.

 

friend of mine bought a few bits for his escoss and it started to flake away, give them there due's though A.S offered a replacment straight away but he got his £££ back and got bailey stuff i think..!

All the alloy stuff on my car is Spec-R and is top notch - bloody expensive compared to what they were like when they first started out when I first bought their stuff though................
