What does an RST run like when chipped? Was on the phone to MSD earlier about a chip and -31. My cars got a pipercross and a magnex will the car be a lot faster and smoother or just a little bit? They estimate 180-185bhp on a sound engine. And what power would i expect if i then added a GRS?

you get a nice kick in the back when it comes on boost.

i found the standard engine to be very smooth. it will be a LOT faster

 

With a:

Chip
-31
Exhaust
GRS cooler
16 PSI

I would recon about the 180 -190 BHP mark

 

yeah you'll love your rs even more sooooooo bloody addictive you'll notice a huge diffrence if your motor is standard ...get it zvh'd!!!

 

Get the GRS and have it fitted 1st, then get it chipped that way there is no need for another setup after the fitment of the more efficient cooler.

It will transform your car, you'll love it!

p.s davidch on here is about to advertise his GRS may be worth pm'ing him Im sure he will be at the PF meet later this month.

T28 RST, ive saw your car at like a million RSOC shows and ive yet to come over and talk to you! Last one i saw it at was Lightwater valley i think? You were talkin to my mate Coldo off here at Aberdeen last year

best thing i ever did was chip my turbo

fitted a ahmed bayjoo chip, GRS i/C & magnex running 196bhp @16psi

what a fooking difference it made, you'll have a rite grin on ya face!

 

 

Give Allan a call at AVA by the time the chips soldered in the actuator is fitted and the car set up your looking at around Ł150ish.
