Hi there i've been offred some wd cossie 4pot calipers is it the same way to make these fit with the washers. cheeRS

 

I am pretty sure you can but you need to get the brackets from zoo motorsport, they will not fit with just the washers

 

I posted a thread on here before asking how to fit cossie brakes to my car and someone give me a page on fiesta turbo.com and he had to fit washers to space them out on his fiesa rs

 

use a standard M10 washer to space the caliper out approx 1mm and thats it , job done ,

nuf said .

Cheers mate i brought the fiesta rs turbo off here of s2 rs turbo it use to be owned by richeard xr21i 1800. so i need one washer either side. that should slow me down not that ive had the cheance to drive the fucking thing the crank went in the car and just got it rebuilt by a guy who i wirk with who use to work for collins. he's just rebuilt it for me. is this 1mm spacer on the bolt that bolts the caliper carrier to the hub. cheeRS

I always thought that 4 pots were the 2wd callipers and not 4wd and that 2wd would not fit a fiesta but an escort

 

True the only reason well the reason why ppl put the cossy (saph or escort) 4x4 discs and calipers on is because they bang straight on were as the 2wd brakes have a different offset so they wont fit onto a FIesta Turbo.

The 4x4 calipers are single pot where as the 2wd ones are 4 pots. I dont know of anyone who as managed to fit the 2wd discs or calipers but you can find out but it will take a lot of messing around to get them on that if they can be.

I'm pretty sure that Zoo does a bracket that allows you to fit 2wd callipers to a fiesta. Also not sure if you can then use 2wd disk or 4wd disk with them. Best to give Brom @ zoo a call.

 

I did see a post on FiestaTurbo about some guy trying to fit the 4pots dont know how it went though. Yeh you can try zoo see what they have to say. Let us know how you get along

 

i was the guy in the process of fitting 4pots to my fez. funds have not alloweed me to get it finished but the offset is not a problem.

you need to get some m12 bolts and tap the holes in the hubs. you will also need some brake lines with a banjo end from r&b motorsport. once you have all these they fit on with some washers.
