Im interested in fitting a pedal box into my escort.. thing is im not 100% sure the benefits i will recieve from fitting 1. it may be a silly question, but will this allow me to throw the original servo/master cylinder in the bin??? does anyone know if i can buy the item off the shelf,or where i can get one fitted??? and most of all how much it is going to cost??? If it helps, i have a cossie rear disc conversion fitted aswell as hi spec 325mm with monster 4 pots on the front! will the pedal box benefit me??? please help.
Have you still got ABS?? Also what brakes fluid you got in it?
The standard master cylinders are ok
Just the abs is a bit shit on S2's, Get it removed ( if you have it ) and have new lines/fluid
A pedel box would be suited for more a track car tbh, What do you use yours for?

i havent got abs, mine is a s1 rst (Mk3). i use 5.1 dot fluid. I Use it for road use mainly, may consider taking it on the track.... Why wouldnt it be suitable for the road???? its just i remember reading that the car was designed to be left hand drive and therefore they added the pedal bar etc which has too much flex on it.dont get me wrong, the brakes are good, but i feel i am not gettin FULL force that my brakes could give me!!! Plus i would get the bonus of having a much neater engine bay.
