Default RS 500 Alternator Drop Bracket more dumb questions !!

Ok , fitted a nice shiny original drop bracket , courtesy of Mr Storey
and now the metal adjusting strap has the wrong curvature and the fan belts are too short !! Was there a "right " strap and belts for the 500 , has anyone got this , and the correct length of belts so i can get some new ones ?
Cheers in advance

Maybe ive got it on wrong then , the strap is behind the alternator , where was yours in front or behind , my one is catching on the top of the alternator and not letting it sit properly in line with the bolt hole that adjusts it ??

If I remember correctly, you can still use your existing strap, but you do need a longer belt.

we just chop off the turbo to intercooler inlet... turn it 180 degrees and weld it on again .. no need for stupid brackets

Have you got the tensioning arm on the right way round.
When i did mine i used my standard belt and arm and so did 3 of my mates who all did the same.

Tony= On Spadge's pic above i believe that to be a geniune 500 tensioning arm.If you use the standard 1 you will find that where the bolt tighten's it will be to the extreme right if the hole.As you look at it.
