.....Polish your shoes before you go out on the piss


Ive just been sat for 30+ minutes doing mine



Think its just because of my job that i do it! Plus i Love my shoes LOL


Anyone or is it just me

 

about to do mine in a min

then several hours later they will look like shit again

 

So true.... pmsl.... Then you get some twats trampling all over them and you wonder why you bothered....

 

Dont think I've spent thirty minutes my whole life polishing shoes

 

cant even reach my shoes to polish when they are on....beer gut in the way ! LOL.

although a close girl friend of mine says the very first thing she looks for in a lad is his shoes so you must be in with a good chance tonight !!

i'm more of a trainers and rigger boots blokey myself !

I tend to polish me work boots everyday. Don't tend to wear shoes going out on a night. Trainer type shoes or loafers

I spill so much beer when i'm out i don't bother with mine

 

i only polish mine if i'm putting my good stuff on for work (ie not the Ł2 shirt and tie from primark ) thats about it

 

Or have a beer fight with someone

Wear mine for work aswell, so polish them when i go out, looks shite otherwise, gotta make an effort!!

 

my dad often takes my going out shoes (girlie shoes obviously, stilettoes etc..) and polishes them before i go out... hehe... he wants me looking presentable!

then again he is in the army rad.

 

I always clean my trainers with Babywipes

 

lol, my shoes are supposed to be dull therfore don't require polishing!

a quick wipe off with a damp cloth sees them looking mint again. i love my shoes aswell tbh! might sound a bit girlie but i wear heavy boots or trainers all week & it's just nice to wear something mega comfortable and smart at weekends, even if i don't venture outside the house!

 

S'pose it makes it easier to clean the puke of them the next day

Only ever spend time polishing parade shoes.

My work shoes and proboots just get a quick weekly polish, literally a few wipes, thats all they need

Get the wax out and set fire to it and then rub it on

 

i'm the same Rad - theres something strangely satisying about seeing a reflection of yuorself in super polished shoes

i bleach my white trainers! works a treat!even on the rubber bits on the sides!

weddings, funerals and court appearences

i used to polish ma shoes but ive got black suede ones i wear just now and everytime i go out it pisses rain and they end up going white take ages with suede cleaner 2 get them black again

 

wow does it even work on the stitches? cos when i clean my superstars, its allways the stitches that let them down cos you cant clean them
