bigger speakers in a saff
Has anyone fitted bigger Front speakers into a Saff?
What will fitt witout to much cutting?
The front speakers in mine are knackerd and thought i might upgrade them at the same time.

I have got bigger speak mate! but had to cut and make custome pods, well i have now fitted my front speakers in my doors! Im not 100% happy with the fit at the moment but over the winter going toget them fitted mint
here you go mate not the best of pics but you get the idea! i want the speaker blended into the door card over the winter!!

I have 5"25 speakers in the door behind the standard trim. They are Dynaudio.
All I did was to shorten the lugs at the back of the grille to stop them fouling the speaker and put a small spacer ring around the speaker to angle it upwards and pull the magnet away from the window (still a very tight fit).
Tweeters are currently attached to a bracket which is attached to the kick panels, will blend those in one of these days...
Anyway, the doors look completely standard and it sounds the proverbials, just wish I had sound deadened the doors, but that's .5s to 100 lost
