im sam and from north wales, currently ive got a nova sri but im looking at escort rs turbo series ones, and am hoping to have one by the end of the year.

just wondering if you guys could tell me what to look for as ive been brought up around vauxhalls but im leaving them behind me now.

Well the chassis rails,battery trays,front crossmeber,rusty around the sunroof,thrahsed exapmlt.knackered turbos,

Best thing to is scout this BB or go the South Wales show in Aug as there will be plenty there and lots of people to advise you

We ran a full buying guide on the Series 1 a while back that tells you all the stuff to look out for. I think it was dec '03 but i'm not 100%.
The back issues number is 01732 748084.
If you want a copy PM me to remind me and i'll check it's the right issue when i'm back in the office on thursday.

 

cheers for the welcome guys - ive loved my fast cars for a few years but had to have a nova to get some no claims built up but now im ready for the power increase and the insurance increase too - im 20 in november so will wait till then prob so that the insurance mite drop a bit more!!!
