Default Not sure what to use, any ideas?

What do u lot think is the best to use on chrome, to get the best effects/shine. Also whats the best way to get all the black plastic/pipes under the bonnet looking clean/as new???

autosol on chrome, wd40 wet wipes on any rubber or silicone bits

they used coca cola on mythbusters
i take them off and when the mrs is out i wash them with fairy liquid and a nail brush in the shower
