I keep mine on, any of you guys ever seen the mess that an alternator or power steering belt can do to a cam belt when they let go! or perhaps a twig or other piece of quite small debris thrown up off the road! Hmmm.

I've been thinking of a clear one as well, my friend works for a company specializing in aerospace windows, portholes, leading/trailing edges and we were thinking of keeping the original cover but mounting perspex windows into it in different places so you can see the pulleys go around.

Still just talking about it though, got enough proper jobs to get on with without mucking about with perspex

now saveing up for one as i raced a tvr the other day and a stone
flicked up & smashed me o/s headlamp were is was right up its ass nice.
made me think if that had gone another root to the cam belt.
so now got to get me a nice shiny one.
