Default Co% on 2wd saff

Hi , just had M.O.T done and passed with a CO value of a fraction under 2% Is this ideal , she,s got an stainless ex and K&n L6 with standard chip .
Im thinking its a bit too low and would be ideal with more of a richer burn .
any help will be appreciated

Hi mate, someone will correct me if I'm wrong I hope but this is what I was told a while ago by Woodford Garage Motorsport.

> * At Base Idle 800-850RPM - 3.5% Max
> *At 3500RPM no less than 1.5% ( ideally 1.5% - 2%)

the AFR at idle bears little or no relationship to the AFR throughout the rev and load range, although if you have a standard chip it should all be alright (depends what improvement the inlet and outlet breathing mods that you have done have had).

i wouldn't worry about it if you are running std boost.
