Does everybodys knob waggle around or is it just mine?
I think I might need a bush to sort it out
I also have the problem with it coming out all the time under full speed
Can you get a new bush from ford?
I think I need one.......

Even somebodys old bush will do that someone has finished with?

 

pull the knob off theres a "o" shaped ring that goes down the center shaft, using an electrical screw driver just put it in the hole locate it in one of teh slots on teh "o" ring and turn it clock wise to tighten the thing up.... or from behind the dash ( take out the pocket to the lower right of the dash under the steering wheel) theres a plastic nut on the back of the control switch just do it up finger tight.

 

aaah i thot mine was cunted, as it just falls out also and doesnt seem to do anything! does this work the front or rear wiper speed? i thot my front wipers were slow

 

my one has never worked.

 

hmmm, so you got a waggley knob abd you think a bush will sort it out? , I think I am suffering with the same problem as you!, I shall go out tonight and try to find me a bush!

 

i ripped mine out and stuck my boost adjuster in there. if you bypass it you still get intermittent wipers just cant adjust the frequency obviously.
