Which do you think looks better?

I know people reckon the Series 1 is more motorsport etc but i've always had a soft spot for the Series 2's!

I love both RST's but reckon a Series 2 like this would be very hard to beat in the looks department, just reckon it's a pretty car! lol





Let me know what you think please guys, need some help in deciding as I really can't make my mind up!

Series 2 so far then..

 

S2 for me.

S1's are like 3dr's.... Ok on the outside, but EEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW on the inside.

 

Series 1 look the best old school

series 1 mate i think you have been looking for one so long now you are starting to look for the more common one thinking its easier to find a good one stick it out a good series 1 will come along oh did i mention one i have will be for sale soon

 

its got to be the s1's every time, i had both at 1 point guess which 1 i sold s2's just dont have that something that makes the 1's special

but that red s2 could change me, stunning car

they're both nice but i gues its the s1, the true classic lol

 

i think the series one has a little more respect due to its motorsport history however the interior is just ugly and white is not my colour series 2 all the way

The picture of that Series 2 was taken at Castle Coombe this year as I came down in the escort cossie on the right of the pic.

Would you believe that Series 2 has done 150k, well it has. A very nice car too.

Bit unfair posting a mint looking S2 in the picture and a standard S1 to compare it too.

Tony's right about the dash being cack but how many Series Ones do you ever see compared to Series 2's these days?
There can't be that many more than 500 S1's left and how many of them are shitters.

I have had both cars and I prefer the S1

Totally agree with TT though, S1 interiors aren't the best...

 

standard s1 looks better than a standard s2 ,but id prefer a mod s2 any day

 

Know what you mean there mate and totally agree, only grabbed a quick pic of a Series 1 just to post up, don't think ive got a modded version, if I had one tho think it would definately have to be on Rondells like yours or possibly Borbet C's sprayed white!

im on my second S2 so i guess i like the S2 more. im not sure if i would own a S1 now getting old now and hard to fine a nice one for good money.

Respect both cars but the S2 for me, probably biased cause I have one but as others have said the interior is cack. I just like the more modern shape on the S2.

 

 

S1's deffo, no doubt about it - but that red S2 looks well

 

Always liked the S2. . . ESPECIALLY that one at the top. Fell in love with the S1 the first time i saw one so it's the S1 for me. Not just any S1 though . . . . MY S1 !

 

its gotta be the s2- i prefer the mk4 shape tbh altough the s1 does look equally as hard with rs7 diamond cut jobbies on
just not as sleak as the s2- S1 FOR TRACK/S2 FOR ROAD

 

good clean s1 is better than good clean s2. well modded s2's like that red one look the mutts nuts tho, make me think about swapping(only had s1's). very easy to ruin s2's if you go over the top. s1 gets my vote

 

That red series 2 is absolutely gorgeous

I've had both cars and im undecided which i like best. the series one will allways turn more heads but there is something i love about s2's aswell, i just dont know which i prefer.
