looking for a mint or concours escort cossie. big turbo with low miles. I understand this wont be cheap but the right money is waiting for the right car. No red ones please.

dont have alot of knowledge on the cossies, are they like rocking horse poo? ive had 2 s1 turbos thats my rs experience. i want a cossie to take it to the shows so ive got time on my hands to find one. cheers for taking the time to find the 2 small turbos for me

 

Well there's plenty of cars out there but mint ones are pretty hard to find, they are out there but it may take time to find one.

At least you're not limiting yourself to one colour.

I've been looking for a mint Imperial Blue, small turbo for over two years.

If I see any suitable cars I'll let you know.

 

Its crap when u have the money and cant find the right car, usually the other way round. Hopefully someone is thinking of selling!

 

Sometimes you can find a car and then prise it away from the owner. At the end of the day every car has it's price.

Automotive Unlimited have some lovely motors.

John Taylor can often find mint cars.

Paul North Yorks and Pete RS Specialists often come across some great examples.

The RSOC BB is always worth a look as is Rallye News.

Then of course there's always Autotrader, Ebay, Exchange and Mart etc.

The car's are out there it's just a matter of finding them!

Could u tell me whats included in the lux pack? I would really like it to have the leather aswell. I know im being picky but i plan to keep a long time. Bit of advice = would it be a cheeky move to pm a couple of boys of PF and ask them if they were interested in selling their cossies?

 

Damo V is the best person to ask about standard specs etc. I've got a rough idea about what Lux spec. is but Damo V knows for sure.

Perhaps a bit cheeky but I'm sure you won't offend anyone if you go about it the right way. If they definitely don't want to sell they'll soon say no.

I no its not a big turbo car but its had the turbo work done to her but looks standard runs 300 bhp with minimal lag and is in concours condition 4 first and 2 seconds last year at rsoc shows.

hi mate i,m thinking of selling my escort, mallard green. it has a harvey gibb's 400 engine (only done 2k) full history. the car will be a forthcoming feature car in performance ford later this year. exterior car is mint and leather and interior is mint and standard apart from pop out t.v engine bay is with pro alloy intercooler, rad, pre cooler, power steering, water tanks and swirl pots and carbon fibre heat shield and timing belt cover and other shiney stuff. wheels are brand new the new style comp mo's with ap 330 on front and koni's all round and carbon fibre front splitter, car is on a k reg and is taxed till june and has mot till nov 06, car has 72k on clock, i have had the car 18mths and i bought it from harvey gibbs, i am looking for 16,500 as car stands me 20 as you live up north i could meet you in newry if you wanted to have a look as i live in meath
