Not unreliable at all IMO

only issues we have seen with them at work is relating to the cooling fans and fuse failing, and the coil packs, bth of which the majority have had fixed under warrenty

from what i've seen they're alright. although from where i am standing they're quite rare, i've only seen about 3 ever.

& they're not that quick either, sound nice but the older 2.8/9 VR6 sounds nicer/has alot more grunt.

its a proces by which the petrol is injected direct into the combustion chamber instead of of indirect, has many features - cant be arsed to talk about it because it doesnt actually work properly in this country.

looked at the TDI , but this one has come up and the TDI are about Ł2k more for the same spec

to be honest i have always been wary of common rail diesels unless you own them from new.

yeah know what you mean about TDI's holding there values a lot more, i just bought one, and could have had a much nicer spec if wanted petrol car. But i do lot of miles so a Derv is a must.

Seen some V5 ones about, thought never driven one. I havent heard anything bad about them mate tbh.

make sure its got individual coil on plugs, no plug leads as these are the170hp unit instead of the 150hp with plug leads

good engine tbh, sound fantastic, they go ok for abig car
